About Aus Walking Pads

I'm Jordan. I'm 17, and I run Aus Walking Pads out of Melbourne.

I spend most of my day at a desk — school through the day, this business after hours. By the time I checked my step count at night, it was embarrassing. A full treadmill was never going to happen: no room, too loud, and it'd be a coat rack inside a week. I wanted something that just slid under the desk and let me walk while I worked.

So that's the whole company. One thing, done properly: the Aus Walking Pad. Not a shelf of random fitness gear — a single walking pad I stand behind, sold at a fair price, with a real 12-month Australian warranty and support that's actually here, in your timezone, run by a person who answers.

It has a full-length handle bar for a reason. The bar makes it steady from your very first step, so it isn't just for people who grew up on treadmills — your mum can use it, your partner can use it on day one. A lot of walking pads leave the bar off to look sleeker in photos. I'd rather it get used every day than photograph well.

I check the specs on the product page against a physical unit in front of me, not a spec sheet. Where I haven't confirmed something yet, I say so — I'd rather be honest about what I don't know than sound confident about something that turns out wrong.

A question before you order? Something not right after it arrives? Use the contact form and it comes straight to me. I want to earn the second order, not just the first.
